Terms & Conditions

AGE LIMITS AND AVAILABILITY.
 All treatments (unless specified) and spa days are subject to availability and offered to guests aged 17 or over at the time of booking. Children Swimming Times are 08:00-10:00am & 18:00-21:00pm, in peak periods access may be granted outside of these times by management.

APPOINTMENTS 
We operate a live booking system which is constantly changing therefore we are unable to reserve specific time slots and treatments will be booked subject to availability. If you wish to amend your booking in any way, please contact us before you arrive. We will do our best to accommodate any requests but cannot guarantee it. We have treatments available with male and female therapists. Please specify when booking if you prefer either.
Appointments can be made online, face to face or over the phone and will require full payment to be made at the time of booking. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and must be presented to the Chakra Spa team upon arrival.

GROUP BOOKINGS
 Please be advised Group bookings over 6 people are by enquiry only. The Spa retains the right to deny party bookings over 6 persons. The Spa will offer a quotable amount for a 6 persons or more if within plausible coherence with the business requirements.

CANCELLATIONS
 Any cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled booking will be charged the full amount of the service(s) booked. 
Spa days are non-refundable and require at least seven days’ notice to reschedule.

ARRIVAL TO THE SPA 
Please note whilst car parking is complimentary for spa guests, all vehicles must be registered at reception on the day of arrival. Any unregistered vehicles will incur a parking fine.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your treatment or package in order to complete your health questionnaire. If you are delayed, then, unfortunately, your treatment may have to be shortened so as not to inconvenience the next booking. 
In all cases of late arrival/missed appointments 100% of the cost will be charged.


MEDICAL STATEMENT PRE ARRIVAL All guests are required to complete the necessary consultation form prior to treatments and on some occasions your treatment may need to be changed or adapted. Please make us aware if there is anything in your medical history that could affect your day here with us prior to booking.
If you are pregnant, we advise you do not use the sauna, steam room or Jacuzzi during your visit. Pregnancy treatments are not available to those within the first trimester.
A patch test is mandatory for all tinting treatments at least 24 hours prior to the appointment being carried out. We will not be able to complete treatments on guests whom have Cancer without written instructions from a medical professional.

ETIQUETTE
 The environment at Chakra spa is one of relaxation and tranquillity and we ask you are mindful of other guests during your visit.
Loungers cannot be reserved, and any discarded towels will be removed. Outdoor loungers are available seasonally in the garden and courtyard areas.
 Day guests will be provided with a robe, towel, and flip flops on arrival. If you are a hotel resident your robe and slippers will be provided in your hotel room. Please bring your own swimwear, gym wear and trainers so that you can make the most of the gym, local running routes and tennis court facilities.

VALUABLES
 We provide lockers in the changing areas which you will require a pound coin for. We strongly advise that valuables are left at home and not worn in the spa as some jewellery may tarnish and that mobile phones are not left unattended. 


EATING, DRINKING AND SMOKING 
It is prohibited to bring your own food and drink into the spa, food and drink is available to purchase from our Qube bar or Baytree restaurant. Please drink in moderation as we reserve the right to refuse entry/treatment to anyone we believe is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Smoking is prohibited within the Spa, and we ask you use the nominated smoking area in the courtyard - to the back left hand side of the spa facilities.

BEHAVIOR If any guest shall cause nuisance, annoyance, inappropriate or abusive behaviour to other guests or staff members including misuse of the spa facilities we will reserve the right to refuse admission or terminate your stay with us. In particular abusive behaviour or violence will not be tolerated. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
